  1. Sally -- I first saw this piece via the AB yahoo group, and I'm interested in knowing your process for the magazine transfer. I've tried a couple times -- unsuccessfully :( Do you mind sharing what you did? I'll subscribe to this post's comments in case you want to leave it in a comment here. Otherwise, maybe you could share it with the AB group given this month's theme requirement :)

  2. Hi, Paula! I used just plain old white cardstock. I used Liquitex Gel Gloss medium and slopped some on the cardstock, not too thick. Then I placed the picture right side down onto the gel. Before using the brayer, place a piece of wax paper on the transfer. Brayering comes next, you will need to remove the excess gel that squishes out. It's kind of fun! Remove the wax paper after you are sure you are done brayering...this has to be done well...and wait overnight. Then, the next day, place a baby wipe on the picture and wait. Start rubbing the piece gently and the paper on top will start to peel off. Keep rubbing gently until the paper is removed, then start with your fingers. You will notice that the gel needs to be gently removed with your fingers. Keep them wet, and spray the picture as needed to keep it wet. Soon you will have a picture without much residue, some enchanting mistakes, but that's part of it. Hope this helps!

  3. Thank you, Sally :) This is pretty much what I did -- except I used Omni gel medium. Oh well -- I guess I'll just have to try again :)
